Fore Lake is located in the Ocala National Forest. At the time we visited the campsites were $8.00 a night, and the swim sites were $2.00 per person. They might have changed their prices so it is best to call. Their number is 1-352-625-2520. They have 31 campsites that feel secluded because of the surrounding vegetation and the large oaks and pines. The sites have no electricity but they can still accomodate up to a 35' motor home. Each site has its own cooking grill, picnic table and lantern post. There is potable water outlets throughout the campground.

Fore Lake is reported to be a 77 acre lake. There is a sandy beach on one side, where the restrooms are located, for swimmers only. No fishing allowed here. Also you will find picnic tables and grills. For those who want to BBQ by the water.

On the other side they have built a pier where you can fish. This would be a worthwhile place to visit and paddle. Check it out soon.
