About our molds

All our molds are first generation molds to maintain the best detail. They are made from a Polyurethane rubber manufacturered by Polytek and they say they can last for years with the proper care. We use the 74-20 series. It can be used to cast cement, epoxy, polyester, urethane, and acrylic with proper mold release.
For cement casting we just rinse the molds with clean water then pour while it is still wet on the inside. Remember to pull you molds the next day and wash them in clean water before repouring. It will make them last longer. They should be stored out of sunlight on a flat surface.
If you're a do-it-youself type person or just want something different, you can make these for far less than buying them. Make them for youself or friends and neighbors. You can sell the finished product you make. You can even resell the mold after you have finished with it, just please don't make a copy of our molds.
